Allmusicians:
If you have a band and want to take it to the next level sign up for Master Classes. The class is basically for people who want to take their music beyond the one-on-one teaching, or if you just want a band leader/mentor to guide you to making your music sound better and get that good sound that many young bands lack, robbing themselves of the potential they have that just needs direction. For example, for those who are interested in:
- Starting a band and rehearsing effectively for:
- Contemporary Christian
- Praise & Worship
- Alternative Rock
- Acoustic Rock
- Punk Rock
- Jam Sessions
- Learning how to setup in a live situation
- Sound System
- Setting up a stage
- Preparing to play live
- Chapel
- Youth Band/Praise Teams
- Concerts
- Paid Gigs
- Live performances
- Recording
- Concepts of a Studio Band
- Live Recordings
- Equipment/Gear
- Overdubs
- Talent vs. Technique
These are just some examples of what the class is for, it will enhance the musician in more than just "playing their instrument solo," but help them learn to work with other musicians and develop the knowledge for the "behind the scenes" setting of a band. My role is to mentor, manage, train and equip the musicians and band.
If you know of anyone who may be interested in the class, have them contact me. I know this will be a fun thing and I encourage you to sign up. If you are already taking lessons each week, continue that if you can, it's good for the one-on-one attention.
The class won't be referred to as Master Classes once a band has chosen a band name. Just send me an email saying your interested! One band is getting started soon and I'm looking forward to it!
Peace,
Josh
